We are known as "The Skiingest Club in Town".  Our trips for the 2006-2007 winter season are available for sign up. A typical winter season will include four downhill and cross-country trips planned in Wisconsin, Minnesota,  Canada and Northern Michigan, local ski day trips and four western trips to such destinations as Vail, !Winter Park, Steamboat and Park City.

The complete Sitzmark Ski Trip Book is published in August and distributed to the entire membership. Sign-ups begin at the September membership meeting--our first meeting of the season. ! See the ski trip policies web page for a full description of the sign-up policies and procedures. Special package rates include transportation, lodging, hill parties and more.

When the snow melts the summer sports go into "warp drive". Just a sample of some of these events include: tennis and golf league, several coed softball teams, indoor and outdoor volleyball, sporting events, and much, much more!

Senior Alpine Racing is an inter-club racing program for adult women and men. An award winning race team, which competes against other Metropolitan Milwaukee Ski Council (MMSC) clubs. Races start in mid December and run through early March. Races are normally held on Sundays with a two day season finale at a ski resort. Both beginner to expert skiers can race.  MMSC web site www.skimilwaukee.org
We have an excellent ski school for our "up and coming" members, learn to ski with the Sitzmarks! Five weekly lessons at a local hill to encourage ALL members to learn how to ski, or to sharpen their skills. Lessons begin in early January. A great benefit for all of our members!
The Sitzmark's social calendar spans the entire year!

Our winter social events schedule offers an array of activities, including: monthly membership meetings with a live band, theatre, in-door rock climbing, bar-of-the-month outings, dinner of the month, ice skating, learn to scuba, volleyball outings and lots more.

When the snow melts the summer social events go into "warp drive". Just a sample of some of these events include: camping, canoeing, weekly biking, summer membership picnic parties, camping, kayaking, rock climbing, fish frys, motorcyle rides, picnics, music events, after work gatherings, our famous "Sitzfest" pig roast and much, much more!

From rollerblading to rock climbing, there's bound to be fun for everyone.  Please check out our club events page for up-to-date information about upcoming events.
